Following a period of consolidation, the workload in the main laboratory of The University Hospital in Ulm, Germany, more than doubled from 3000 to almost 8000 reported results per day. With such a significant increase in volume, investment in new automation was required. The cobas® 8000 modular analyzer series connected to MODULAR PRE-ANALYTICS EVO, in combination with a Roche PVT cobas p 612 system, combined processing speed with high quality and accuracy of results.
